Since 1963, Henty Machinery Field Days has grown into the most successful mixed farming expo in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the best in the world.

The technology at Henty each year embraces advances in agronomy, animal husbandry and bio-genetics through to the data processing and communications hardware and software necessary for the efficient management of major new agricultural enterprises.

The Cooperative that hosts this major annual event is made up of by the regional farming families which originally came together in the early '60s in a roadside paddock to stage what was to be a one-day combine harvester training school that grew...and grew.

Henty is located on a superbly laid out permanent all-weather rural exhibition site with broad display avenues including 100ha (250 acres) of car parking and an on-site airstrip.

The site is situated between the two major regional cities of Albury and Wagga Wagga in south eastern Australia and is an easy drive from the national capital, Canberra.

Albury and Wagga are serviced by air, road and rail from the State capitals of Melbourne and Sydney and offer a wide range of accommodation options from four star hotels to farm stays and home host programs.

Henty is held Tuesday to Thursday during the third full week in September each year in the Riverina region, one of Australia's great agricultural powerhouses.

Its about agriculture,

sciences and future!
